Nominees are evaluated on their ability to drive impactful change in HR practices that benefit organizations as a whole, with a focus on three core areas:

1. Functionality: Nominees must showcase effective strategies or initiatives that improve HR functionality and processes. This could include the adoption of innovative tools, development of effective feedback systems, or implementation of programs that enhance employee and organizational performance.
2. Integration: Successful integration of people and performance programs is essential. Nominees should demonstrate how they’ve aligned their initiatives with broader organizational goals or combined various systems and tools to create seamless workflows and a cohesive HR strategy.
3. Performance: Impact is key—nominations should highlight measurable outcomes that reflect success, such as improvements in employee engagement, retention, team performance, or productivity. Quantifiable metrics and real-world examples are highly encouraged to demonstrate the effectiveness of the nominee’s efforts.

Completing our nomination survey at the top of the page is easy and provides a platform to spotlight the innovation, impact, and success of your nominee. Please email your submission form to events@betterworks.com or your Customer Success Manager. Here are some additional key details to know as you begin your application:

• One Submission Per Award: If nominating for multiple awards, you’ll need to fill out separate forms.
• The More Info, the Better: Share any media like presentations, images, or videos that showcase your nominee’s impact.
• Social Media Visibility: Provide social media handles so we can celebrate your nominee across our social media platforms.
• Video Interviews: We’re excited to bring the stories of our Make Work Better Award winners to life. To encourage nominators and/or winners to participate in a 30-minute video interview, all who participate will receive a $250 Amazon gift card as a token of appreciation for your time.

All submissions are due by 11:59pm PST on April 21st.

Winners being informed by email on April 22nd. Winners will also be honored during EmpowerHR America on May 6 and a second time during EmpowerHR Europe on May 13.
